I've had the game sitting in my library for years but I only have 5 minutes played. Meanwhile Civ 5 has over 1000 hours played. Anyone with similar stories?

I'm racing through to build the Notre Dame, only to have a AI opponent guzump me 10 turns out ? No notice of my opponent starting to build the ND in the message log, Nothing ! just bang , you lose. This smells like a Cheat, a Lvl 7 difficulty cheat. I understand a Engineer could steal the ND in 1 or 2 turns but i should get a start ND message then a Complete ND, 1 or 2 turns later. But that never happened. Where are the Engineer stats stored ? which table ? also where are the cheats stored ?...

When i play CivV i get satisfaction level 103 on Persia and more. But in achievement center i cant find "Every on high" as won. I have a screenschot. Can i paste here?

I'm getting tired of vanilla generation, putting me alone in a continent while every others civs is grouped together
