Awful mechanic....impossibile to prevent, it seems...i'm dying and dying in the jungle level.

Hi I have read a lot of HP Lovecraft's work and now playing this game, I am trying to place each monster from the lore but not sure what each of these monsters are. Is there a guide or something that's been written? There isn't a bestiary in the game which is annoying. I do recognise the Migo and some of the others but many of them I have no idea what they are, and would be interested in what they are and what stories they're from....

Game looks great. I played for a few minutes and I am liking the entire vibe except for one thing ... I was unable to find a save game option. Is there an option to save the game anytime you like? Or is it an autosave once you reach a checkpoint? And if it's checkpoint how far between checkpoints is it? ...
