There are often bugs in the game where you can fall from the map and you cant return back, you need to reload your last save file which can be annoying, that happened to me when on the russian side in Chapter 10 and went through the canals, if you load into the map inside then and try to go back and use teleport, you can teleport out of the map and fall down for ever.. only reload a safe file or use "no clip" to get back up, same thing happened to me in Chapter 9 when i went the right path instead the left...
