Hi there. I just have finished BT1 in normal mode. I am planning BT2 in legacy mode. How I can transfer a party from BT1 (normal) to BT2 (legacy)?

I've been there from the beginning, though only got to play 1, never got to play 2 or three till now, though always wanted too. My library had a copy of bard's tale 1 in it and was so excited at the chance to play. I even bought 2's strategy guide in antidipation of playing, but my old comodore's sid chip died before I could play it....

I had all my mages die in mangar's towre. I am on level 1 but no sure how I can reach the stairs. You teleport from the stairs to get farther into the map, but there is no way back to the stair that I can tell without APAR? Anything that I can do to get out?...

Seriously.... (post describes the tower so if you don't wanna know, don't read....) I'm a few decades older than the Internet. I'm a veteran explorer. I know how to "grind" xp or loot. I don't *mind* grinding....when it serves a purpose. I remember the days of keeping paper notes and maps for video games. But Dargoth's Tower (especially the 4th floor) is absolute rubbish and I *hate* it. The fights are tedious, the loot is awful, and that lovely corridor of mana regeneration is not enough to make up for...

Hey all: I just finished up the first game in the trilogy and was offered the option for a party import. From what I'm reading, BT2 was designed for like, level 13-26 characters? My party from the first is all 26, except the mages, who are a little lower in Wizard after mastering all the others. I started, had all the sick gear, it felt way too OP. Anyone else have that experience? Suggestions? I ended up just starting a new party entirely. I do love that challenge. Am I going to lose out or miss ...
