Sometimes the edges of the screen flash red, or strange visual glitches flicker. Is something wrong with my graphic card, or are these intentional? Like some sort of throwback to old footage reels or something? I assume the spots and grianyness are meant to evoke the feel of old reel footage, but the red flashes on the edge of the screen are more concerning...

Recently reinstalled the game and it seems incapable of loading my online profile. Did this game just get completely abandoned in regards to support? If so, that's a damn shame. I love the art style and always felt it was a shame I never had anyone to play it with....
