Another game I would give a neutral rating to if I could. It's going to be impossible to not compare this to legend of grimrock (the first game in particular) because it is more or less a carbon copy of it. And if you played grimrock and want more of that, then it's an okay game to pick up on sale. If you haven't played grimrock, pick that up instead, because dragon knight doesn't do anything different, better or even as good. And I'm only rating positive because they at least tried to give more grimrock when it became obvious that grimrock 3 will probably never happen.
It's got the atmosphere and the mechanics done well enough but it does have a number of issues that grimrock just didn't. Like the complete lack of enemy variety, the secret rewards being underwhelming, getting the best gear too early, most of which you can just buy. The story just has a basic beginning and ending (a sequel bait cliff hanger that will probably never happen) and nothing in between, where as grimrock at least gave bits of lore here and there while exploring. The sound track is non existent, using custom portraits is a bad idea because then characters will be silent and you might miss voice cues. Oh, and the English is not good.
So yeah. It's just okay and barely passable. Pick it up on sale if you want more grimrock.

Broken english and horrible mechanics. When you walk over arrows or throwable items a random character picks it up and equips it. It's very difficult to organize your equipment because of this because you are always rearranging it. The story is atrocious and I finished the game without understanding it. Secrets are too difficult to find - even the main path is a maze. I finished the game under 20 hours but only the first 5 were fun.
Less than 10% of players actually finished the game and the worst thing I hated this was the performance issues that made the game stutter in A LOT of places and I was playing it in slow motion.
I regret the 2€ I paid for it.
