Today wraps up phase 2 of a 3-part game engine overhaul, adding additional support for modern graphics hardware, shaders, post-processing, and more. We're closer than ever to our goal of a lag-free experience with 500 ships in a single battle!

Today's major update is a total refresh of the core game engine, with huge gains in performance. Lag during large fleet events is drastically improved. This update also introduces support for modern graphics hardware, shaders, post-processing, and more.

This update has been in the works for months! Today we've added a new category of gear, called Void items, which are rare and powerful upgrades to normal equipment. Earn Void gear by logging in each week to claim a free gift box, then follow the mission it grants.

This major update introduces a ton of content, features and fun stuff to do! No matter if you're a PvP Gladiator or PvE Farmer there's something new for everyone!

First, players can now transfer ships, items and currency between servers. This allows for our EU/UK players to access the London-based Universe 2 server, or North American players to get on Universe 1. See the in-game wiki for details.

Captains can become a Gladiator climbing the ranks of Arena combat! Every 100 victories unlocks a unique title and Gladiator Ship Mod, with new Vorpal and Savior technology.

For players interested in co-op PvE they can defeat invading aliens and pirates to earn the powerful Phoenix ship mod and Rebirth technology, which saves your ships from fatal damage!

Today's update introduces the Party Box! These consumable items generate random group activities for corporations and alliances to do as a team. The box then gets thrown randomly into the universe for other players to find, who can then gift their own team with a party!

Today's update introduces many player-requested features, bug fixes and new content! You can now craft the powerful Interdictor Ship Mod, granting your Carrier-Class ships a disruptive gravity effect to slow down enemies.
