Not much fun

Impressively boring early game. I played roughly an hour and I have not gained a single moment of joy from it. It also felt like I played for 4+ hours because it was just that lame.

Don't get me wrong, maybe it gets good after hour 3 or something like that, but its honestly not worth the time investment.

Someone played those old FATE games or the original Torchlight and said, "This is great but way too complicated, can we simplify it a bit?"
I've played it for like 50 minutes and other reviews and youtube videos confirm I've seen pretty much all there is to see. There is no way to build the same character different ways, there is no loot variety to the point that there isn't even any stores in game so I don't understand what purpose the gold serves. It's all very basic: "This is the axe guy, he only uses two axes so those are the only weapons you'll ever find. You'll never find a shield or a club or a sword or anything. He doesn't wear armor, either, so you find tattoos. They are functionally the same, they even look like armor when you pick them up." It's just way too basic for $30, I payed $3 for it and I feel like even that might be a little steep. You could get Last Epoch or Grim Dawn for the same price as this, that's insane to me.
