I've finished the game but the achievement hasn't unlocked. Was it because I skipped the credits both times in the epilogue?

Was good until you have to leave hugo's room with lucas later in the game. Then it becomes impossible. If you run for it and light fires lucas sits back and dies like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron. If you wait for lucas he sits there and does nothing while you die. How did such a good experience go so bad this late in the game. Devs must have stopped caring, or the one in charge of this scene is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot....

so i bought this game a few days ago and absolutely love it, but i'm stuck on the boss with the flaming sword at the castle, I've sicked the rats on him twice, the first time before he lit his sword on fire and the second time after, but i'm having trouble getting all the lights near him extinguished without him relighting them and/or finding me, and also extinguishing his sword, and even when i think I've got enough lights out, the rats won't appear.
