Everyone gets +60% EXP this weekend!

New Zombies
One of the biggest complaints we have about DF2 is that we don't have many base zombie types. In 2025 we are going to be addressing this by massively expanding our pool of zombies. We're looking to add a whole range of new zombies types including: casual, police, nurse/doctor, soldier, cultist, decayed and more. Each of these will have both genders, multiple head types and clothing variations (on top of all the normal elemental and mutated versions). Here is a few early concept sketches by Milen Kaluchev and some screenshots of the first model by Dobrin Rusenov. I will share more images with you as we progress with these designs.

Main Story
Anklast has been very busy working on our main storyline for more than a year already. I am happy to report that he is getting close to completion and we hoping to have this released in the early part of next year. This story will move Dead Frontier 2 away from just being a sandbox style MMO and add a lot more depth and complexity to the game world.

We are also planning to add several new building types and a hardcore rogue-like game mode in the early part of next year. Watch this space!

Halloween Additional Update Notes
- Fixed a bug with hits not being displayed properly when using fast weapons
- Orange Juice is no longer as common as used to be. Peanut butter and Chocolate Spread will also drain some hydration with each use.
- Mutated Organ bug fixed.
- Palehaven Archives should have a boss room now.
- Improved guidance for Nix Mansion and Secronom bunker storyline.
- Increased the number of male and female zombie spawned for Med tier 70 zombies PZ.
- Nomads will no longer offer endless missions if you don't finish Sackhead's nickels mission. Had to fix it because they are too profitable and people would often opt out from completing the chain in order to continue farming them.
- Buffed Medic and Hacking. Medic now grants 7% healing speed per level and Hacking has 6% find upgrade chance per level.
- Added some new consumable stim items, attachments and unique armour to Nix Mansion and Secronom bunker.
- Fatman's All-Purpose-Mittens are now enhanceable again due to popular demand.
- Ravenwall's Hospital and Cultist type enemies now have their own exclusive soundtracks.

- You can no longer be hurt by enemies while a door is unlocking or travelling in your car
- A bug which stopped some keys from spawning in Secronom Labs has been fixed
- A bug that caused large lag spike when fighting Patient Zero in multiplayer mode has been fixed
- Various physics issues have been fixed

- An FOV slider was added to the settings menu
- Once you enter either the Patient Zero or Matriarch boss rooms, the doors will lock until the boss is defeated. This is to stop various exploits and help prevent leeching.
- A bug that sometimes stopped Lockdown Terminals from spawning has been fixed
- A bug that caused the Matriarch Boss to get stuck on level geometry has been fixed
- All crafting recipes that required Elite & Rare Enhancer have been modified so that they now require the level 60 versions
- A bug that caused some interactable objects to spawn with their names in an incorrect place has been fixed
