Is it normal that it one hits me every time? if yes, any tips on beating it?

I have a GTX960 windows 10 everything up to date. I even tried playing with graphics settings down to medium. I get about 2 minutes into the tutorial or an adventure and the game crashes. Too bad it looked fun. What a waste a money because i see the game has been abdondoned already....
