I built several subs for the Battle of the Atlantic. Problem is. there is no battle. My subs arn't sinking any convoys unlike HOU2, so what is wrong that I can't sink anything?

whenever i play the game i just ignore the fact that my industry is wasted, any advice would help alot

Hi; I only played Hoi4 of the Hoi series but I played Vic2. I did a small research of which is considered the best Hoi game and I found with my great surpraise the battle was between Hoi2 and Hoi4 with the almost universally ostracization of Hoi3 (I know them are only opinions but they argue that Hoi2 have better feautes and is fun to play, moreover it has feautures Hoi3 and Hoi4 don't have). i just started again this game and got beaten up pretty hard by the allies in the 1936 scenario. All my infantry was basically still 1926 variant and not upgraded. and the allies had much more planes, mainly figthers than me. i just find i dont have enough ic do build up everything i need till 1939, not to speak of upgrading everything as i go planned economy allways. i need dont have enough ic for the tanks, planes, ships, u boats and motorized infantry and normal infantry i need. need some tips here to g...
