This game feels like a top tier Adventure Time experience where they clearly expended the effort on things like voices, dialogue and art, and then bolted all of that onto a back end of a so-so RPG with mechanics from the 16-bit era.

I ran into an issue on a 16:10 (1280x800) resolution where during combat the last characters art gets cut off and you can't really see their health. Resolved it by changing to a 16:9 resolution. I also experienced performance stutters transitioning between areas out at sea.

I would only recommend this game to Adventure Time fans, ideally ones who won't be put off by occasionally punishing turn-based combat. To me, the charm outweighs the jank. I would wait to get it on sale.

All my play time was on steam deck, It runs prrfectly.
This game is simple but this is not bad, I love the purpose, story, humor, game play.
I bought to my 4y/o son but I player before haha.
Also I recommend for more than 5 or 6 y/o because of some not trivial mechanics for kids.

The game is good, but i would like it even more if the combat was normal fighting, instead of turn based combat. Running around dodging, blocking, running and fighting would fit this game way better
