Truly a beautiful game that is hard to follow up. The world draws you in and the phenomenal music stays with you long after you stopped a session. Going to try the prior two games in the series just as an excuse to play 3 again. Cannot wait for Wasteland 4.

Recommended for anyone that is a fan of classic Fallout or the X-Com Series. Many choices and exploration as well as scalable difficulty should you want more of a challenge.

A must for anyone looking for a new RPG experience outside of standard affair produced by many AAA studios today.

Wasteland 3: A good RPG game that I looked away from long enough

This game is like diving into a world where you get to call the shots. I mean, managing your squad is really fun with all the skills you can pick from. And the characters companion? They're not just shooting buddy NPCs, they're like friends with their own stories and flaws. They even react to you choices, the environments, even talking to other npcs you talked to in quests.

The world in Wasteland 3 is quite good. I wish there were more places to explore, but the ones they've got are detail and immersive enough, it's hard to complain.

For the mission quests, you've got options on options on options (lkr). It's like choose-your-own-adventure but with Shotgun and BAZOOKA. Just look out for those tough decisions—they're gonna make you think a lot, and maybe make you do alt+tab and watching a tv show first before make your final decision lol.

The story pace is perfect, it's not trying to drag the story at the end so it would have a "HUNDREDS OF PLAYTIME". They nailed it, the replay value in this game is high with so many endings and how you want to approach every quests, not to mention, different squad with different skills too!

Now, it's not all "rainbows and sunshine". Sometimes you run into little bugs, but nothing a quick reload can't fix.

Overall, I think Wasteland 3 is a must to consider for someone that into a turn based tactic games and enjoy tons of dialogues.

I just... don't enjoy it.
You get a squad of 6.
There are plenty of skills to choose from, but to get good at some of them you get to sacrifice others. That in itself is not a bad thing, but as you travel the world you encounter a lot of things that, if you don't have enough sneaking, mechanics, toast repair skill (?!?) or whatever, you don't get to see what you are missing out.
That leaves a bittersweet taste in my opinion.
The battles sometimes start spontaneously, leaving no time for preparation. At some point I learned to avoid talking to important npcs without positioning everyone as if we are going to go all out.

The story feels... meh. The quests didn't really move me.

The combat in itself is not bad. I miss a lot of information though, as an xcom player I want to know the details of the enemies to calculate the risks. But there is no information beyond life and armor: how much they can shoot for? at what aim?

The game is not so bad as to say "it is a bad game", and I kinda enjoyed the 14 hours, I guess. But I didn't even leave the starting zone and I don't feel like playing this anymore.
