1. i can equip my bow i have arrows but i cant equip an arrow. what gives. 2. how often does the game save and does it offer any indication?

From the Title Screen you only have the option PLAY. Instead you should have CONTINUE which loads the latest save. Then put an option below it SELECT GAME. This would bring up a Save Game Screen.
