One can probably work something out, with help from GOG or someone similar

I accidentally alt-tabbed causing the game to lose all audio. No matter what I do, there's still no audio. The game is on full volume according to Windows sound manager. I tried restarting my PC, starting a new game and eventually reinstalling the game, but none of that helped. I haven't found a fix to this at all. Please help!...

I went to Wanev's tower and fought him but he did not surrender so I've killed him. Now I'm stuck with an unfinished quest which is "South Road: Closing Wanev's Portal". I know it just means I won't have some loot reward and that's nothing much, but I've seen some other pple with the same problem so I thought it was a bug worth mentioning....
