This is unironically a great game. Yes it's a bit janky and outdated but it's highly reminiscent of late 2000's/early 2010's games. Similar to the classic X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but with some stealth (should you wish to approach it that way).

This scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Excellent bargain bin pick, highly recommend.

I heard this game was bad. Like really bad. After playing almost 4 hours I can safely say it's incredibly average in everyway.

The story is interesting at times but the bad voice acting and facial animations really make me not care about it. The combat is where the game should shine but falls apart due to how ridiculously easy it is. Everything even bosses can be best with just button mashing.

The open world-ish hub area is cool at first but quickly becomes a pain. Especially at a certain part where you gotta explore the WHOLE area to destroy 3 things. At that point I almost dropped the game because it was such a a pain and have zero indication of where you had to go.

In conclusion, would I recommend this? After everything I said... Yeah I would BUT only on a very very steep discount. The combat is mindless fun, the story is somewhat interesting, and the lore is rather well done. Only buy on a big discount though or you'll be very disappointed.
