In this patch, we're improving the server browser and the way you create games, also we've added an improved party system, with better integration with Steam.

• Added new message system with better understandable tips
  
• Fixed some bugs with bots not filling the server properly
  
• Fixed some scoreboard bugs not showing all the players
  
• Fixed the end game scores not showing human players.
  
• Remove the spawn time in TDM game mode
  
• Added a capture cooldown for pillars in Relic mode, once you capture the pillar it will be blocked for 30 seconds.

Known bugs: Some translations aren't in-game yet

We're also working on a new big update for the upcoming weeks which will bring a new game mode which will please all of you. We will be also posting on social networks about news and updates and more stuff.

Overview

Hi Relic Hunters.

After many months without patching, here it comes the new update. We’ve been working on a new matchmaking system and a new party system. Keep in mind both systems are in beta version and could have some bugs.

One of the most important changes is that now the Bearer isn’t the only one to have 3rd person view. After tons of feedback and advice we’ve decided to switch the game to 3rd person view and you will see, the changes are huge.

We’ve also added a new game mode, Team Deathmatch. If you just want to kill your enemies, just join a TDM game and let the slaughter begin.

• All the previous bugs should be fixed

• Sounds and music have been tweaked and improved

As a side note, we’re still working on improving the overall systems and we’re planning a new game mode which will please you all.

First of all sorry for being absent for so long time, we've been working hard on polishing the game, new stuff, revamping systems and preparing our journey to GStar Korea, on 10th November.

Checking several forums on the internet we have found people being skeptical about why Blood Ancestors has gotten such a big discount. The thing is we've decided to give a boost to the player base since our launch was very bad and totally forgotten by the media, hence the game population remained very low. Since we really want to have happy players in our game, we've decided to lower the price to the maximum in detriment of our earns, because we think the most important thing is to have a healthy population, since a game like Blood Ancestors without players is a dead game, and of course we will keep releasing quality patches in order to give you all the game you all deserve.


About the upcoming updates we have to say, we've been working in a better game feel, better in-game sounds, and the most important thing a new brand matchmaking system, with the ability to create custom games, team up with your friends to play and the first iteration of the tournament system.

Also, we've been working on new characters and soon you will be able to play the newest class, the Spectre.

Today we’re bringing a new patch which comes with very important additions and changes. The most important one is the engine upgrade. This change will fix a lot of issues we’ve encountered trying to implement stuff for the game.
Also, after gathering some information in our discord and feedback from the players we’ve focused in melee combat immersion, we’ve changed most of the combat sounds and FX, we hope you like the new changes.

• Fixed random player disconnects
  
• The capture system is now more accurate
  
• Fixed issue with the bot kicks and spawn

• Bloodshed:
  
  • Counterattack now working properly. It should be more intuitive
    
  • Dragon hook should now work better
    
  • Blood Urge will now boost your own attack speed
    
  • Berserker’s Anguish should now work as intended. Health will be full refilled and the swing speed will be way faster than normal
• Sorcerer:
  
  • Suction improved
    
  • Blood mines functionality reworked
    
  • Leech will now work as intended, it delivers damage and drains your target health over time

  • Grappling hook being reworked. You will climb above where you were aiming at (similar to other games grappling hooks)

Hi @everyone! We've been a bit quiet the last few days but just because the team is working hard on improving certain parts of the game. As a sample take a look at this new version of the Breten's castle map. But that's not everything, in fact there are plenty of new things coming soon. A new character is almost ready, the 3D team is working on yet another character, the matchmaking is being revamped, the game is now translated in several languages, and a lot more smaller things.

OVERVIEW

In this patch we focused on improving various errors that occurred in servers, such as queues and rejoins to the game.

Many errors in the new version of the UI have also been fixed, as well as adjustments in Bots and Classes.


HOTFIX

General

Fixed an issue where Character UI does not appear correctly.
Fixed some typo errors in UI.
Fixed black screen error when you press Ready with no character selected.
Character Description now shows the correct info (Damage, Health, etc).
Bots now turn to attack.
The Main Menu scene has changed from a 3D environment to a video.
Cancel Queue button has been moved for preventing errors with the PLAY button.
Fixed a bug in Character Selection where the Class description does not appear correctly.
Fixed an overlap where Settings were overlapped by Main Menu
Changed old Relic icon logo to the new one
Bots now follow Bearer when he spawns
Now Ultimate appears at 0% when you spawn
Reduced the charging time for the sprint and auto heal
Added Bearer skills info to the J screen


Classes

Templar
Stampede reworked, first iteration. We will wait for your feedback
Bearer:

Now the Justice Knock from Priest does not move the Bearer
Now Bearer heals as intended with using sacrifice (Q)

Bloodshed

Fixed a bug where Bloodshed Bot does not make damage
Dragon hook revamped. Now you can’t take enemies through the walls anymore.

Shade:

Fixed a bug where you can’t make headshots to Sorcerer
Shade projectile size slightly increased, shooting feels better now

Maps

Saint Mary’s Cathedral:

Fixed some places where meshes were not correctly positioned.
Fixed some props collisions that affected player movement.

The dev team is working hard to fix many of the issues reported. The next patch, to be released within this week, will not only smash some bugs for ever, but it will also make the game smoother and more stable.
