The puzzles in this game make you go very hard until the game rewards you beautifully

even if your not gooning, (99% are) this game a is a very fun yet simple choice, lore is most definetly optional. and there are so many characters to battle (or the other thing) would recommend

I really enjoyed this game, and highly recommend it! Not only are many of the characters really enjoyable (and pretty with good CG) but I absolutely loved the match-3 puzzle system. I was buying this game hoping the match-3 system was like Huniepop, however it's very, very different but not in a bad way. The developers figured out how to turn a match-3 puzzle system into a battle that is very engaging and at times actually gets pretty difficult if you aren't properly prepared. The game has you complete 3 matches to unlock the first NSFW mode, with a set number of actions which is a puzzle in of itself to unlock various endings. A 4th match unlocks the free mode, where you are not limited in moves, which is a really great addition. I also found the short story lines enjoyable, which co-inside with the match-3 puzzle battles. The Lost Shards DLC is also definitely worth a buy, for Hill alone lol. It's really a huge shame that Mirror 2 didn't pan out. If they could've expanded on this concept I think it could have been great, but instead they got too ambitious and it lead to their downfall.
