Ok, now there're plenty of video players out there on the steamvr market already.
Aside from the common features such as distance adjustment, screen color tuning, or adding to favorites, here's a list of the killer points how this player defeats the competition:

Progress bar preview (when hovering on the progress bar, you can see the preview for the video)
3D support for 180/360 local and youtube videos, too (other video players may support only regular 3D videos)
Support for embedded subtitles and audio tracks
Support external subtitle files. (The files can be anywhere on the hard disk)
Youtube HD (1080p, 1440p) supported. (You get a dropdown list to choose the desired resolution)
Youtube video detail page (displaying like/dislike counts, video length, description, and a list of relevant videos)
Video A B point loop
Vive headgear's front camera supported. You are able to see the surrounding even with the headgear on.
Display video also on regular window. (Your girlfriend next to you can watch the video with you on the monitor.)
If you don't like the built-in scenery, you can also use the background downloaded from SteamVR workshop.
Best of all, the developer is still alive, does response very quickly, and takes in feature requests.

This is a side note, but I must mention about. Actually, I planned to set the discount to 70% of the original price. ($9.99 * 0.7 = $6.99). However, I was so silly enough to get misled by the Steam's wording, so it turned out that the 70% I set was to be taken off from the original price (which is now $9.99 * 0.3 = $2.99)
