Horrible sequel with no focus. There were only two fun parts. The beginning with the wheelchair and Hitlers theatre. Everything else was just not great. The story falls apart very quickly, characters with motivations that make no sense or we spend too much time on. The level design gets really stupid to the point that I don't know how anybody would be able to solve certain level puzzles.


Debra Wilsons characters husband is some insane UFO nut, he has a nice cutscenes where he tells BJ about the conspiracys and how the nazis have UFOS and BJ is like, yeah thats just crazy. Literally 2 levels after, BJ takes a nice UFO trip to Venus to go join Hitlers theater. Did anybody comment on the UFO? No. Did anybody every mention anything about the UFO and the crazy husband even after he dies? No. Did the writers just improve and forgot they even added this into the story? Yes.

Also we need to talk about how this game feels like nothing like Wolfenstein in the tone of the first game, I don't know why we need to know about BJs racist cartoon villain father. What does this add to the story? Nothing. I guess we know that BJs father was a cartoon villain.

BJ not shutting up about the character Caroline that is on screen for less then 5 mins and just keep rambling about her the entire game was very annoying. While never talking about his pregnant wife and only giving her maybe 2 lines of dialogue is really saying something. No wonder BJ ran away to underground goon cave in the third game.

There are two extreme examples of with the level design, on Venus, there is a big round room that has a massive globe in the middle, there is a good 50/50 chance that globe will be destroyed during combat, but what if your like me and that globe did not get destroyed. You run around for a couple of minutes in circles trying to figure out where to go, maybe back track, okay then your out of all options and just shoot the globe, it crumbles revealing a vent for your to crawl underneath.
Level Designer - "Yes, so when you destroy the globe, its like your destroying fascism, their world, you are destroying it, as BJ, as you the player and then the vent underneath signifies you descending even lower into hell, like Dante."
Is the level designer here an exceptional individual? Yes.

The second example would be trying to find Wyatt, the map marker just shows you to go to the shooting range, and then by only mere luck I was able to find some crammed up room that you can easily miss because I feel into it by accident and then you have to use this stupid deiseltwerk gun to blow open the vent cover to find him.
Level Designer - "You see, when you try and find Wyatt, you are like diving into his mad mind, and then when you use his special gun to blow open the exit, you are unblocking his mind, you as BJ are the fresh perspective that is helping him with his trauma and drug addiction."
Is the level designer still an exceptional individual? Yes.

I did look up what the special quest is for Fergus was, and it was you trying to retrieve his robot arm from somewhere in the hangar cause his robot arm was groping women or something. WOW!

Wolfenstain 2 should have been BJ stuck in the wheelchair, it should have been nothing but BJ killing Nazis in his wheelchair, you should be able to upgrade your wheelchair, boosters on the chair, more nade pouches, more guns to attach and use, those extendo leg upgrades could have been used for the wheelchair, but no, you get this half cooked slop, I couldn't even be bothered to finish the game, as the last final level got really dumb and lazy they just copy pasted the elite enemies to fight in some locked down arena, that's not a good way to end your game, lazy ♥♥♥♥♥. Looked the ending up on Youtube.
Are the writers lazy hacks? Yes.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, in short, continues the story of The New Order and follows Blazkowicz as he leads a revolution against the Nazis in the United States. It has eleven chapters, each of which contains several missions. Among what stands out the most:
Improved Gameplay: (The combat system and weapon mechanics have been improved to provide a smoother and more satisfying gaming experience).
Expanded Perk System: (The game introduces an expanded perk system that allows players to further customize their playstyle).
New Combat Skills: (New combat skills have been added that allow players to experiment with different tactics and strategies). In other words, it offers an extensive and varied gaming experience.

If you hate Nazis and have daddy issues, this game is for you.
