house party is a good game weighed down by a lot of borderline scummy micro transactions, but i still recommend it for being possibly the best "adult" game on steam, the gameplay is fine the humor and style is charming and overall i have a lot of hope for office party... but. i also dread it, this game relies so heavy on paid content because of the explicit content dlc that is required to turn off the censor bar, and without any other dlcs the customization is laughably bare bones with about 3 different clothing options, further more the supporter pack is also making me lose hope, 10 dollars for two quests one of which doesnt even offer any,,, well you know. i really really think ♥♥♥ games is good at what they do, but the predatory paid content and the fact they make you get a patreon sub if you want news about office party (which i have yet to buy) leaves me very conlficted. if im being honest this is less of a house party review and more of an office party one if office party takes the same steps house party did i have no doubt it will fail as the community is almost non existent at this point, i do enjoy this game but i hate having to pay to unlock things that should be included, paying for extra quests shouldnt be the norm, all and all i am very conflicted on if a new player should get this game, if you dont have any other cash to spend i dont recommend it, if you do? then the choice is yours if you want to spend it on the dlcs. overall 5/10 devs, 10/10 game, 6/10 community.


edit ; i would recommend aureila, no paid content and it feels more complete. even though i still love house party

This is probably one of the best immersive nsfw games with a lot of content and things to do that is available on Steam. But charging for the ♥♥♥♥ patch when it used to be free is pretty scummy.
