Amazing game. Most of the DLC is worth it to add countless more hours of game-play.

Also the mod SFO: Grimhammer II is AMAZING and I cannot play the game without it.

Fun battles. You have to pay for a ton of dlc's if you want the cool stuff. currently I can't download the dlc's I bought, so there is that as well. when everything downloads it's fun, but I don't think I will ever play the whole game because It cost's over a $100 for all of the dlc's.

Better than Warhammer 3. Still not great as older Total War games. But "OK" as a Warhammer battle game.

Don't get sucked into WH3. WH2 is better by a mile

$100 million lost in on making and cancelling Hyenas game. That's where all that Warhammer DLC money went, not into the Warhammers game but loss of another.

- In WH3 siege rework made it so bad. The enemy AI cannot cope with defending multiple walls. At least in WH2, just really one wall and AI has actual chance against you. Sieges not great in WH2, but at least more challenging and better than WH3. Both games most of the battles are sieges. WH2 sieges are miles better than multiple walls the AI can't handle and adding 2 capture points in WH3 is pointless since the AI doesn't understand that.

- What is funny is that it took 2 years for WH3 to fix ranged units responsiveness to make it like WH2. Basically in WH3, ranged units pivot from front of unit and ass to turn whole unit to face enemy. WH2, they pivot at centre and individual soldiers simply turned. That was the difference they spent 2 years to fix. This is why people said ranged units were OP in WH2. They were not, they just responded more immediate to commands.

- WH3 the units feel slow because they added unit acceleration. WH2 the infantry instant accelerate. So WH3 infantry need time to reach speed in same manner like calvary. WH2 infantry units instantly respond better than WH3.

- WH3 QOL for diplomacy. There are mods for WH2 for trading settlement etc. Those modders do good stuff to diplomacy to just WH2. Way beyond what vanilla WH3 diplomacy can do anyway.

- Total War is about the battles and WH2 battles are much more responsive in unit movement.

- Of course WH3 has chaos factions. Bigger map etc. Bigger won't change the battles, battles are worse in WH3. Pay more for worse battles, just so you get "more" campaign.

- But you get more value from other older total war games than this DLC spam. The battle maps are tiny compared to older total games turning it into a MOBA.

People praising the campaign of WH3 but they put up with bad battles where WH2 was better.
