Calm Before the Storm

I am currently playing the above campaign scenario. Although, I am enjoying the game it does have numerous bugs, mistakes and other idiosyncrasies, which need to be addressed. For example, i am in 1940 as Germany and I already have level 5 tanks and fighters, along with more production points than i know what to do with. A few questions about diplomacy and supply

Does diplomacy even work in this game? It's April of 1944, I've had a 30% chance to 'move' Spain in my direction for four years now, and I may have gotten the diplomacy pop-up twice for the entirety of four years. Is this mechanic still active? The possibility that there has been so little movement, when there is a 30% chance at the end of every turn, for no action to tick Spain to the Axis seems more than off. Crusade in Europe Mod (20k Map) by Elessar (Ep2)

MPP question

I have been playing strategic command for a while not and my favorite campaign is Operation Citadel. One thing that bothers me is the fact that the Soviet economy seems to dwarf that of the US and the West. I've done some preliminary research and the US economy (and thus the MPPs) was at least twice that of the Soviets for the entire war. Can someone give me some rationale why i should not radically curtail the Soviets?...

Elite Forces camp v1.6

Something seems wrong with the counters. The German generals are blank green squares. The Italians are some weird mix of NATO and something. Worst is they are almost transparent and hard to see on the map. Does anybody know what is going on? Since this campaign was packaged with the game I figured it would be a final version? IMO the color choose for the German counters is the wrong color. Should be more gray and the Italians should have the current German color. If you play enough classic WW2 board game...

Simply the most basic, comprehensive World War II Strategic war game.
The movement, and logistics are integrated so well that after only a few turns the player is completely unaware of the underlying mechanics.
I consider one of the best strategic modern warfare games ever made.
