Was a fun experience in the assassins creed series, Bayek is a great character, well written and performed. The gear score/level score system limits you to not being able to fight or assassinate anyone 3 levels higher then you which is the worst part of the experience. The horse/camel riding is a little clunky, this is the first entry in the current mechanics format of the series so if you have played Valhalla, mirage, odyssey, then you will understand most of everything. Being in Egypt in antiquity was the coolest part of the visual experience. 7/10 would recommend

An Amazing and beautiful conclusion to the beginning of the era of Assassin's creed.

I never thought i will get that much engaged in the story of ASSASSIN'S CREED ORIGINS as much as i did in the EZIO'S TRILOGY that i'll be compelled to write a review for it. The beauty of the ancient Egypt and its story kept me interested throughout the game. Just because it is the first open world rpg style assassin's creed game Ubisoft nailed it by setting the enviorment and graphics to its limit. yes there are some issues here and there in the game but the story was top notch with an amazing ending.
The story being one of the best does not engage at first. Imo it is incredibly boring at the start. It really picked up the pace when Bayek goes for the Crocodile boss and the rest is history. Historical characters like Kleopatra and Cesar also have somewhat recognizance in this game. However almost 90% of the side missions are incredibly boring and repetitive in nature. You go and kill the a boss in the Fort, liberate it, free the prisoners, get some useless information and do it again and again. If the main story was not that good i would have left this game without even completing it.
The mechanics are totally different from the past assassin's creed games which i found it to annoying. there is no RUN button and no specific JUMP button which made the game somewhat jarring for me during the travel. The physics are very good as well as the vaulting and climbing as you can climb almost everything in the game. You get a horse for road and there are boats to ride when on water and the controls to ride them are simple and very good for me.
Combat is totally different from previous games. Here the game compels you to fight one v one with a wide range of weapons which i did not like considering the assassin's main weapon is stealth. Tho this game also has pretty good stealth with a bow and the trusty old Assassin's blade. Yes i do understand this game's setting was before the assassins existed that's why i did not pay much attention to the combat mode and however i liked.
Not every NPC was good but some NPCs like Shadia, her father, Beyek's sister and Bayek's wife Aya were unforgettable. The game gives you the chance to play as Aya at some point in the game which i really loved. Both Bayek and Aya are consumed by their past tho Aya seemed wiser and adapted to the situation as the time went on in the game.
The main story is about Bayek's revenge for the murder of his son. As he gets near to the culprit he realizes that Egypt is in far more danger and some things are far more important than his revenge. The betrayal, revenge, the will to do good and the separation is portrayed masterfully in this game. Ending is by far the most beautiful tribute to the Assassin's creed era. Tho i would have loved if Ubisoft made a seperate DLC for Aya about how she managed to start her own Assassin's Bureau in Rome. She is the best character in the game after Bayek. The way she says "Requiescat in pace" after the Assassination is the best tribute to the best Assassin known as Ezio.
Besides one of the best stories ever written in Assassin's creed, i really hated the level system Ubisoft introduced in this game. As the story goes the Enemy' levels also go up so you have to follow up by doing side quests which are insanely repetitive and boring. You can explore tombs and other special places which hold zero to none value and give almost nothing to outright useless loot in return.
The hidden ones DLC is probably the best dlc in this game compared to the other one. it highlights the story 4 years after the Assassin's creed currently known as The Hidden Ones were first formed. The comeback of Aya now known as Amunet and the tribute to Ezio by playing the OG music in the end is the Chef's Kiss.
the Curse of the Pharos is exactly that to this game. No story and just useless running around doing the same thing again and again. yes there are some new combat challenges and some areas are very beautiful but not a good story made it feel useless and boring to the point i was yawning when playing this. Yes if i would have played it before ending the game and playing the hidden ones DLC, i would have like it but after completing the story which is close to a masterpiece, i could not bring myself to like this DLC.
Tbh the main story and the beauty of the game makes it on par with the OG Assassin's creed games specially the Ezio's trilogy which is dear to my heart. but the level up system, repetitiveness, unrewarding exploration and the worst and useless dlc ever, leaves a bad taste for me. so i would give this game 7/10.

One of the best in the Franchise, i'd say this game was a big Game Changer back in the time.

This game has lots of cool environmemnts and its shame the gameplay is ♥♥♥♥,. U can grab a torch and explore inside old pyramid darkness but for gameplay there is nothing ..There is cool cave u can climb in and inside is statue of forgotten baboon god and skeleton sacrifices next to him etc... it makes u wonder in alternative world iff instead of the crap we got pricne of persia game like this or nosgoth or sword n sorcery setting It would be quite awesome explore old ruins in desert with properly arcade fun parkour and combat like in princ of persia sands of time .The game should have cheat codes for sand surfing and atv vehicles and dirtbikes then it could redem itself or they should port the map to "riders republic" game

Classics sstory about revenge for my son but with sjw elements . There is sequence where the gamme makes u play some missions as female and she can lift up a guy x3 times her body size and jumping and climbing with it .Again bloated ai generate quests everywhere, RNG looting , needless skill tree all this garbage level locked zones stats damage sponge enemies - again u are playing singleplayer MMO. again everywhere somalians ethiopians running around (wonder in the valhala assasins also same ?Wont be suprized )

U canacquire in the game "cursed " weapons and they deal double damage on enemies but reduce your HP and it is quite feel nice o kill enemies with a khopesh(minus the fact there is no gore just idiotic blood splash effects) and in desert sandstorm,but also it makes it so that enemies ALWAYS kill you exactly in two instances of damage and with lots of bugged and retarded animations in the game it will be really annoying
