If you are a creature of impeccable taste you are aware of the fact that the life and struggle of the colonial marines in the second Alien installment is the far superior movie, and one that really cemented the ridiculous notion that we humans are at the top of the intergalactic food chain. In Reactive Drop you get to play a small squad of said marines as you battle through installations, fusion reactors, clandestine laboratories and more to stem the tide of the alien swarm.

At its heart this is a tactical top down shooter for 1-8 players that really focuses on tactical squad based gameplay, and best of all, it is completely free! You select one of 4 classes with 2 characters tied to each class and equip your marine with a starting kit of weapons, ammunition, handheld welders and other things that might aid you on your mission. On the way you get to hack terminals, seal doors, set up sentries at chokepoints and generally LARP your way through a set of atmospheric maps and campaigns that truly do the gameplay fantasy justice. The difficulty is highly modifiable and comes with a plethora of options to make your run as smooth or nail biting as you want.

I have no critique whatsoever and since this is a free game with the power of the steam workshop attached to it there is a ton of content to play through and enjoy. Round off a few friends, shoulder that pulse rifle and have a blast while trying not to gun down your own crew in a frantic hunt for the last parasite trying to suck your delicious brains out.

Cool game, can be played solo but it is soo much better if you have someone to play with! This game will make you feel like a badass lol It's a free game, and I feel like it shouldn't be free for a game at this quality!
