Is there any way to fill in files of the original german translated version into the Steam version, so I can use the german text translation of my original version, but still use this superb remastered music of the Steam version? Is this game or pack of games completely playable on Windows 10 without having to jump through hoops? I mean does it work straight out of the box so to speak?

Does anyone know a fix for this? I am windows 10. The game opens to a black screen and there is a snippet of sound that iinfinitely loops, I can't tell what it is, its too short. I also sometimes see the mouse.
