Democrazia!

I can't play with no one. Friends or random doesn't matter, the game just says that it's impossible to join, and I'm having this issue from April/May of this year.. I tried everithing I could, but nothing worked

Don't get me wrong, i do not want to insult the game or the devs (actually months ago one of them tried to help me, throught their ticket support, but unfortunately without results),
I am just frustrated that i can't play with others and help in the war effort (I can only play solo, but this is NOT what I want). I really hope that this problem will soon be fixed (and that there are no others with this issue)

In the meantime, fight the good fight, Helldivers. Kill some alien filth for me

Recensione un po' più approfondita

Nonostante la base narrativa possa sembrar uscire da un grande meme, Helldivers 2 è una vera gemma. Un cooperativo che se giocato con strategia e coordinazione regala tantissima soddisfazione soprattutto ad altissime difficoltà. C'è una gran varietà di armi, cosmetici e stratagemmi per portare morte e distruzione a tutto ciò che non è democraticamente giusto e minaccia la libertà. Il lavoro degli sviluppatori è senz'altro uno dei punti di forza del titolo: la community si sente parte di qualcosa di grande, cooperando e raggiungendo obiettivi che vengono impostati a livello globale, per poi ricevere ricompense e aumentare il senso di unità e realizzazione. Inutile dire che da il meglio di se giocato con una squadra ben coordinata, creando momenti epici e talvolta divertenti. Nel caso invece non abbiate amici o, peggio ancora, abbiate amici che non giocano a helldivers 2, la community è molto attiva e sicuramente troverete lì dei veri amici difensori di libertà, pace e democrazia . È un titolo che ti la riflettere su cosa l'umanità, unita e senza divergenze, sarebbe in grado di fare, demolendo e facendo esplodere ogni ostacolo o cosa aliena sul suo cammino.

Unico tasto dolente la ripetitività di alcune meccaniche, ma considerando che per ogni razza si combatta, il gioco cambi volto quasi totalmente, direi che ci si può passare sopra, con la convinzione e la speranza che i dev sfornino nuovi contenuti e rendano il gameplay un pelo meno ripetitivo

The new Killzone crossover should have remained as a warbond as per the original leak. Would have happily bought 2000-2500 SC to buy it for the crossover (2 armour sets and 3 weapons), but nearly 2k SC just for a single set of armour and a gun is ridiculous considering it's going to double when the second part comes out.

After such an amazing week with Omens of Tyranny update and the Urban Legends warbond, while I believe this is the work of Sony and not Arrowhead, seeing this price gouging leaves a really sour taste in my mouth.

I would 100% advocate to refund the SC for anyone who purchased individual items and re-release it as a warbond.

I paid for a full game not pieces of one. I don't want to pay for every new pass that comes out.

Helldivers 2 presents good, satisfying, fast-paced, and well-researched gameplay, unfortunately marred by the game producers' greed to exploit the success it has had.
As far as I am concerned, it is the worst disappointment of the year, and one of the worst videogame purchases ever.

The game presents a currency called “super credits.” These super credits are obtained by paying for or farming them in missions, The problem is that the ratio of appearance of super credits in missions is completely random.
What are these super credits for?
To buy mainly the season passes included in updates in the game. In all there are 9 of them for now and each pass costs a whopping 1000 super credits (about 10 euros if bought in)

To farm 1000 super credits you need dozens of hours of normal play, much less if you use farming strategies (boring missions at the lowest difficulty looking for super credits in the map). In 33 hours of normal play I have never yet reached 100 super credits.

What do these season passes contain?
The only useful weapons in the game. The first free season pass that allows you to unlock weapons in the game (many few), contains weapons that are fairly useless once you get past difficulty 4, which means that if you don't make dozens and dozens of hours or spend dozens and dozens, you are nerfed, all to fuel the purchase of microtransactions.

A pay-to-win system that totally ruins the game itself, make progression slow and cumbersome, to the point that it feels like a free-to-play sold at full price.

I do not recommend it to anyone who, like me, hates free to play with aggressive farming and grinding, and unfortunately being totally entrenched in the game and because of the success it is having, Helldivers 2 will never change course.

I hope that with this review I can save a lot of people their money
