The Good:
- Gunplay is fast, gory and satisfying
- Interesting weapons and abilities
- Vehicle combat is fun
- Graphics look great
- No issues with framerate or stability (outside the vehicle upgrade menu, see below)

The Bad:
- Very forgettable story
- Only 12 Save Slots
- Voice acting is phoned-in and at times cringy
- $99 AUD for the Deluxe version in 2024
- Game consistently crashes when using the vehicle upgrade menu
- Drone collectable hunting is a chore
- Too much focus on cosmetic skins for a singleplayer game

The Ugly:
- Certain map POIs do not complete properly, which will give migraines to completionists.
- Second story DLC can only be purchased through the ingame store
- Various glitches: Invisible NPCs, objects clipping through walls or suspended in the air etc.

If you really must play this, wait until it's steeply discounted.

Much better than the first one

44 gb installation had me reading the book of Revelations. We are indeed close.

The game is junk.
Filled with glitches and breaks near the final mission. Level design is ♥♥♥♥, everything is made worse than RAGE 1, but thanks to id Software, they created nice shooting and killing mechanics, works fine.

Worth buying with huge discount and only with Deluxe edition DLC, because Rise of Ghosts story is good and spinning you much better than main quest. Unfortunately game wasted all the aesthetic and gameplay mechanics potential of first game, then it hard to recommend it to people, who seeking for high quality games. RAGE 2 is definitely not even mid-quality, that's for sure.

P.s.
Main game is filled with woke and sjw culture ♥♥♥♥, but Rise of Ghosts much more close to original RAGE game and looks fine in that case. Still no beautiful women characters but without freaks and trash people.

Truly a gem - a mix of borderland elements here and there. Alot of fun, looking forward for Rage sequels to come! ;)

Why did people not like this game when it released?? This game is basically open-world Doom with vehicles. Running around and shooting enemies feels great in this game, the combat itself is worth playing for. If this came out nowadays it would be praised for the amount of content, so sad this game didn't get the appreciation it deserved. Get it when it goes on sale for like 10 bucks, totally worth it

its OK

Not worth the time.

You likely played a similar game many times already.
But this one has: Boring and poorly told story, boring missions, boring charactrers. You likely won't remember anything, probably even the disappointing ending.

On the plus side: The visuals are great, the maps are interesting, and shooting is ok.

A vast improvement from the first entry. Still missing something to be great, but good enough

I would recommend trying this game out. The combat is cool and you have a good variety of upgrades. It's brutal and bloody which is something I dig.
