The Fox engine is so good, it saved this game. I installed a mod that gives infinite oxygen and food and water never depletes. No it doesn't break the game, you still need to gather the same resources if you didn't have this mod on, this mod just allows you to only go back to base whenever YOU want and not bother you while in combat. Also you can stealth way better, because just sitting in one place doesn't drain anything. With this mod installed the tediousness of this game is gone and I can just focus on having fun with the gameplay. Wish Konami made more games in the Fox engine before abandoning it, this game is pretty much the last one that did.

So don't approach it as a metal gear game, but another sandbox in the Fox engine to fool around in.

Is a fun game for a while but becomes boring once you realize multiplayer is only 2 modes and cannot be open world. Wanted to enjoy this game aton since i spent money on it but couldn't because it had little to no charm or characters I enjoyed since most cutscenes were temu codec calls.
