There are 5 little dots on the left of the confirmation window where you'd pick study subjects or whatnot before finalizing for the day that go orange when you click the little arrows just to the right of them but won't let you un"select" (at least without reloading a save)... what do these do, if anything? It's been like 100 years?

I keep getting detention for to many items. But I only have a black salamander and a seed I carry around for buffs. Other than the gear I have equipped, do they seriously expect you to have no items on you at all? Or does it count the wardrobe against you as well?...

Maybe because I was thinking of Harry Potter, but thought they started at 11. But I recently got Heroic Zeal as an emotion and it mentioned something about the character being 13. So Theoretically, this story would continue for what? 5 years? That would be cool....
