LIS 2 is a splendid Game that lets you play out the story of Dan & Sean how you want. Course I am one of the people who always wanted to talk to Lyla but overall I loved the game. The OST is Baller and it truly is a special story.

Sadly, I let my prior Political Convictions prevent me from playing the game when it was *Super* Relevant but even in 2024 there is still so much to learn and process in this game. Thank you DONTNOD for giving a fictional Face to the real-life struggles that people like Sean and like Dan really do face.

I super approve of this Game and even if you're not too Political, there is still plenty to enjoy. It really is a good story to enjoy a Brotherly Dynamic and trying to mend a Broken Family.

I think this game hits me the hardest emotionally. Probably because of my bad connection with my younger brother.
The beginning I thought was kinda boring but I just needed more time.
Amazing game 10/10 I recommend everyone to get into the LiS games.

I can say that this was the LIS game that drew me in more with its story than its characters. Can’t lie, at first I was like, "What's happening? This pace is too fast, I can't keep up." But eventually the game started to settle in for me.

In Life is Strange 1, we were engaged with both the characters and the story (and in Before the Storm, the relationships between Chloe and others…), but LIS 2 had a longer chase aspect, making the narrative better since we were dragged from one place to another.

However, almost every character had flaws, which is nice, but even warming up to Sean took some time. (he is cool af, love him.) Besides Sean, I liked Jacob and Cassidy the most. (I consider the people in Away separately, they’ve created a nice community.)

It was great to touch on topics like family issues, loss, racism, and religious trauma. There were moments when I really felt like I was experiencing these things myself. The issue of racism left a knot in my throat. // I didn’t want to sing the song, I didn’t want you to feel physical pain, Sean, but you endured so much mental suffering that I couldn’t add more. //

I don't understand Cassidy hate either. She was an honest person, and when you were a good friend, she was a good friend in return. When you were lovers, she was a good and loyal partner. She didn’t want either Daniel or us to get hurt. Receiving her letters throughout the game brought a smile to my face. Bro didn’t forget about us ^^ I hoped for a trio with Jacob and Cassidy in the future.

However, one of the biggest issues was Lyla. It saddened me that we could only call a loyal, trustworthy, and loving friend twice throughout the game. But that’s life. There’s a chance we could meet again later, or maybe not. It depends on our choices. There will be times when things get out of our control, and we drift apart from those we cared about. Yeah, that’s life. Maybe not being able to reach Lyla again was better for this bittersweet feeling. Every time I checked her on social media, I felt like crying. Despite everything, she tried to protect Sean...

It was wonderful to meet David. I knew I would see David and Karen due to spoilers, but it didn’t matter. Talking to Karen was nice. I could guess her mindset without seeing her. I hugged her. It didn’t make up for her mistakes, but spending time with her was pleasant.

I got the "Blood Brothers" ending. I was glad I didn’t get to the ending where Sean dies, but it still wasn’t the ending we deserved. (Stopping rebelling against life and fate and starting to rebel against a game company...) There was no reason for them to end up like gang members at the end of the game. NO REASON AT ALL. Because I tried to be a good brother and role model in my game. Living a boring life with the mafia in Mexico because I stole a sleeping bag from a racist person for Daniel? Everything happens for a reason, but what the heck? Is that really Sean? An artist who works with gangs? (That sounds like an indie band name, wtf?) We didn’t get to see Karen, Lyla, or Cassidy at that ending.

Endings could be more detailed !!

I didn’t choose to do that big theft. No matter how emotional I acted beforehand or how much I did what he wanted, Daniel never got better. I couldn't find any reason other than Sean's teenager big bro behaviors before the Seattle incident for Daniel's monstrous behavior. Even if nothing had happened, this kid needed a psychologist. Anyway, aside from a few thefts, I don’t think I went through an immoral gameplay process. But since Daniel was like a bomb with the pin pulled, my good intentions turned into bad outcomes and my brother ended up being foolish (at least we're both alive.)

In conclusion, I will remember this game fondly and beautifully. I will play it again in the future. (and I think I want to live a communal life for a while.)
