Every enemy I encounter, save a few worthless bandits, are much much stronger than I am, my income sucks which prevents from hiring good mercenaries, and in order to get better income I need castles... so far it's been more about reloading battles I cant win than any progress. So I've just started playing, and the two contenders for the dukedom are a woman who is considered to be a 'witch' and a man with the surname "Horn", who founded a university to teach the art of salesmanship. And the election for the new duke will be held in December.
