Do you know the Car Mechanic Simulator game? That whole game is just one gamplay feature in this one. Watching the screenshots you may think that this is a simple indie game. You can't be more wrong. This is a full AA with tens, even hundreds of hours of gameplay where the gameplay loop is so addictive you can't stop.
A little breakdown:
Start
Build your car (i recommend without guides if you can figure it out, the satisfaction is immense)
Car breaks
Work to repair car
Start over
Game has no journal, task manager, schedule, even a map (besides one at your home). This is a full blown life simulator in a package of a small indie game. The attention to detail and the immersion this game has is astonishing. If you are at least somewhat intersted in cars and such, you won't be able to stop playing this. Just buy it and thank me later

I wanted to like this game, really really tried to like it. However, it's just too janky/glitchy for me to try and finish it out.

Hopefully My Winter Car will be better, I really doubt it though.

Edit: I can't stop playing... please send help... (I'm still leaving this as bad because of the amount of bugs/jank that can cost you hours of IRL time just to correct or even just cost you the run if you don't have the foresight to save/back up your save every 20 seconds.)

And then get run over by a drunk uncle in a van while trying to poop in the woods.

You don’t "play" this game. You survive it. It's like Dark Souls, but with mosquitos, beer, and the ever-looming threat of sudden death from forgetting to screw in one bolt.

Want to drive? Too bad. First you’ll rebuild the entire car with your bare hands, drop your spanner in the ditch, and then get heatstroke trying to find it.

10/10 would throw a tantrum over missing a carburetor bolt again.
