Without a doubt, this is the most immersive war game I've ever played. It makes you aware that in war there are no good or bad sides, and sometimes helping is worse than not helping.
As expected, in war everyone loses and this is reflected in the game's ending.

The game is short, lasting about 7 hours, but it has 4 different endings, making it quite replayable. The game forces you to make decisions in scenarios where you truly question yourself about what to do.

Do you want to save a CIA agent who can provide information about the situation and who previously saved you?
- But that starts a shootout where civilians die -
Or do you try to be a hero by saving the civilians stealthily?
- But let the agent die -

It's in these moments where the game SHINES.
For a 2012 game, it has aged remarkably well; the graphics are still good and the soundtrack is incredible.
Unafortunately, due to licensing issues this game is no longer available for purchase, but I hope they release a remastered/remake version.

Good if you figure out how to resize the screen from a tiny black box and buy a key since it's delisted. The campaign is bonkers, but the multiplayer is dead. Like completely. 0 people online.

This game is mind blowing. it's a shame it's delisted.

Honestly the story is a 10/10 it's jaw dropping which did make me speachless muliple times and now i question my sanity.
It hit's harder than homefront. Gameplay can be hell and hard but it's worth it

Hey I thought this was Murica.

i finished the game on another copy. got it on steam for the possibility of multiplayer before they pulled it off the store.

its good. you might think its not going to hit the same way now that the jig is up and there's no shortage of video essays and forum theorists, but if nothing else its a competently made third person shooter, and it still is kinda cool to experience this thing that rustled so many jimmies. i don't think it got too preachy, but it does get close.

The best ending is the one where Walker charges at the soldiers who came to retrieve what was left of a miserable man in a miserable land, and then they dispatch him.
Someone who belongs nowhere can yearn for no home.
