SPOOKY UPDATE - October 18

For a special limited-time Halloween promotion, we’re unlocking the Halloween and Boo! worlds right away eliminating your need to earn all the loot items to unlock them.

Difficulty Warning - not for the faint of heart. Face off against bats and ghosts in 40 spooky Halloween-themed levels. Claim your treats (gems!) without running into tricks (bats and ghosts!)

As a reminder, all of these ghastly Halloween level elements are also available in the Level Editor if you find yourself in a creative holiday mood.

Other things new in this update:

Added Steam Cloud Save Support – Record your level progress to the cloud and continue as you left it on any device. Resolution and difficulty settings still remain locally controlled.
Removed Powers-ups in Hardcore mode – Bringing the game even closer to its classic level of difficulty.
Added Flat Cam Option – We’ve tweaked the camera slightly to make the game look more like its original classic perspective. If you hate it, we also added a toggle in the Options menu to go back to the 3D perspective view!

More Dynamite/TNT - Sep 19

Good evening Boulder Dash community!

We have continued tweaking the Dynamite/TNT rewards found in the treasure chests, and as of tonight's update, there has been an virtual "explosion" in the amount of TNT compared to before! Or, roughly 50% more likely than the other powerups, when the treasure chest spews out a powerup.

Let us know what you think - too much? Need more? TNT seems to be the most popular powerup (we admit it is our favorite), so we would like to know if this makes the game more fun, or less fun, in your opinion.

New Boulder Dash 30th Anniversary build - Sep 18th

Greetings Boulder Dash Community!

There is a new build update available now, which addresses the following:

- Powerups are Restored: now when you restart a level/cave, your powerups are restored to the amount you had when you started the level. Have fun experimenting with your powerups to max out your score and star count!

- fixed Achievement bug where if you purchased a character (as opposed to unlock via Charms) you did not get the achievement for that character

- We are tweaking the Treasure Chests to give out more Dynamite, not sure we have it quite right yet but we're working on it!

We are looking into various other bugs and issues that have been reported by the community. We really appreciate you bringing these to our attention, even if we can't fix them all right away.

New Hardcore Mode!

Hi Boulder Dash fans!

We've added a new Hardcore Mode to the game. In the early Boulder Dash games, players could get crushed and killed by falling gems (in addition to boulders.) We're bringing that back in Hardcore Mode! We're also turning off mid-level continues for an added challenge.

This game may look friendly, but look out!
