First of all, this is a fun game. I enjoyed playing it. It is by no means a AAA Game. It COULD be a fun, solid Double A Game, like Robocop Rouge City or Terminator Resistance. The big problem the game has, is it's reputation. A mere typo disabled the AI, there made it a unplayable mess when it came out. That being said, Anyone can easy google how to fix the typo and make this game playable. I strongly advise against any fanpatches or "Overhauls" at least at first campaign playthrough.

The Story is a loveletter to the movie ALIENS, ignoring any metaphysical philosophy that infested the franchise since part 3. I really like the voiceactors, it is great to walk through the story side by side with Mr. Willingham (Critical Role's Grog).

There are some bumps in the games balancing, as well as a very RNG-like Boss Battle against a big Xeno. BUT it is manageable.
All in all, I like the game and please, if you enjoyed the movie Aliens or the Marine Campaigns in the AVP games, please give this one a try.

This game sucks.

I can not condone the actions of the borderlands 2 ToS debacle, regardless of my opinions of this game its involved with either Gearbox, 2k, take 2, or aspyr. With that being said vote with your wallet dont support this companies that will use their games as spyware.
