This game is a super solid 9/10. It's story is damn near perfect, the game play is crazy addictive, and the ability to customize your character is wild. The ability to replay (As far as I can see of course) is there but kinda lackluster, but there nonetheless. Definitely pick it up when you get the chance.

Insane fun!!!

I spent much of my childhood playing this game, I wish in the future they re-imagine this game with the movement and gunplay of BL3, but keep the art style and story. But for what it is, it's very nice, especially with friends or a partner.

In my first play-through of Borderlands 2, I rushed my initial time playing it, neglecting its narrative in favor of completing quests in bulk and simply collecting loot and shooting skags or other bad-guys. However, my recent play-through i decided to slow down and take in all of what Borderlands 2 has to offer. Taking my time to delve into each quest individually added depth to my experience. This time around, completing quests methodically before moving on enriched my play-through tremendously, particularly as I ventured into Vault Hunter mode and explored the DLCs.


While the gameplay excels, the writing leaves something to be desired for me personally. The humor often leans towards juvenile, a style that didn't entirely resonate with me which is okay and i understand that Borderlands 2 narrative was never something to take serious. Nevertheless, amidst the slapstick, there are moments of brilliance, and certain characters shine brightly. Torgue, in particular, stands out as a personal favorite, injecting the game with his unique badass-ness and BOMBastic personality.


Despite my reservations about the writing, my time in Borderlands 2 was undeniably enjoyable. The wealth of content and the constant thrill of that next big loot-drop kept me hooked, eagerly anticipating each new challenge and item i came across. As I look forward to delving into Borderlands 3, I carry with me the bold and enthusiastic memories of a thrilling story in the chaotic world of Pandora.
