Are there only two endings?

I like this game because the Myst-/Riven-Series and that´s what this game feel. But it´s impossble to made progress. Lab-/Cannon-Island have power and that´s it. I read all the notes for few times, looking around trying, thinking until brain goes neardeath..... no way to figure out to make progress or find hint that works in any ways. It´s impossible to made progress. Myst/Riven are very hard puzzle games but possible to solve, but this game is impossible hard. No. I don´t want look guides and wan�...

So I restored power and arrived to the lab island, turned on the lab beacon. I'm trying to use the hint found in the desktop note to guess the door password. I guess the number of flashes is obvious. The coordinates I'm not completely sure I interpreted them properly in the maps in the telescope room, but i havent found another clue to interpret them. So, I've tried all kind of combinations I can think of with these components, none have worked. Can you give me just a clue on what I am missing?...
