This game is very enjoyable but sadly is dying, the population is incredibly low & 90% of my matches in 2 vs 2 have been me teamed with a bot, fighting bots.

I often get a message trying to log in that says "Servers are full", how & by what? This game is dead or dying, there are very few humans that I have seen & even fewer that I have fought or teamed up with. The few humans you do meet are either super chill or toxic as hell, there is no middle ground with this community.

This company has a checkered past so that might explain why there are so few players. I believe they just made this game available on mobile also but it does not seem to have helped the player base.

There are multiple bugs that should not exist in a game this old especially in this day & age. There seems to be a memory leak that will cause the game to crash every 4-7 matches if you do not re-log on your own before then. The chat in the game only works about 50% of the time & achievements do not seem to unlock correctly. Video games have been around for a while now & the technology is no longer new, these issues should not be an issue in 2024.

I really want to 100% the game but considering how the achievements seem bugged I am not sure I will be able to do it, which makes me very sad. If you are an achievement hunter you may want to take a pass on this game for now. The achievements are already very time consuming without them being bugged & or broken.

1 vs 1: Is fun when playing against players but bots seem to have your exact counter deck.

2 vs 2: If you can get a human ally these are okay but can be frustrating as well. Many humans seem to rank up without actually learning the game mechanics or their decks causing unnecessarily frustrating losses.

Premade: This is the most fun you can have in this game, this is the best way to play 2 vs 2.

Adventure: Equal parts fun & frustration.

Draft: Unless you know the cards & meta builds you will just be feeding other players wins.

Mayhem: These can be fun but if you do not know the cards or the meta you will just feed the other player wins.

Cards are king in this game so all new players are at a huge disadvantage from the very beginning of this game. Skill does help but without the right cards others will wipe the floor with you. This game is free & is not pay to win so that is good. The problem is that you can get cards over time but you will get your butt kicked constantly while trying to earn more cards & many new players will tire of this very fast.

This game is free so give it a try, just do not become too attached to this game the future does not seem to bode well for this game sadly. The DLC is pretty expensive considering what you actually get but I am a cheap sob so take that how you will.
