One might think the previous question comes with a simple answer, but it normally isn't the case.

You can buy a game and refund it if you don't like, the same way you can simply be attracted to buying one without trying it.

That "simple" answer can really give a lot of feedback on what was done correctly, what should always be done, what was done wrong or even what was a deal breaker in some cases.

This question comes from someone that wishes to know what to do to keep improving.

This might be a little late to ask, so an apology in advance if this was indeed an error from the get-go that has yet to be addressed.

The question here is for the color blind users.

Did the palette marked as color blind actually help you? The colors were chosen after making a couple of experiments with various "color blind visualizers" and chose something that actually gave some contrast between colors. But this was never asked directly to the users, hence this post.

If there are any complaints or suggestions, this is the place to post them when it comes to this possible issue.

The reason this came to mind recently was because the upcoming game PEG[heisarzola.com] already had a palette that was considered as color blind friendly, but it begged the question "Is it really color-blind friendly?".

So if you don't mind helping out on this matter here...

Hi everyone,

It has been some time in the works because I've been working on a base framework for my future projects (between some other reasons). But I would like to get some feedback from the public before launching the next thing.

If anyone can answer any of the following questions I know your opinion will impact on the formula for the next game:

1. If you played KNIGHTS, what did you like about it? What did you feel it did different in comparison with other titles?

2. What do you look in puzzle games? What are your criteria or how do you look for something to meet your standards?

3. How often do you buy or play puzzle games? Or what sets the mood for you to go look for something new to play?

But regardless, thank you very much for your support and the love given to this amateur project. It will not go to waste.

And also, it would really be appreciated if you can somehow make this reach more people.

First of all, an apology for the problem.

It is the first game that I ever make and I was new to making save files, now I know the root of the problem (binary files) and wish to make up for it.

The game now saves via an .xml file, which is actually human readable and not internally generated by the computer as a .dat file is. So there really shouldn't be any problems with the newest save files. (But in the remote case there are... please do post the problem.)

However, for those that had a problem with the .dat files and lost all of their progress. Feel free to send an e-mail to support@HeIsArzola.com requesting a save file describing the progress you more a less had. You will be sent an .xml file to continue from where you left.

It might be a little (or very) late for some, and so this is my way of apologizing. Soon it will be time to move on from this project and launch the next. (Patches will still be done as needed though.)

But regardless, thank you everyone for your support and feedback to this day.~

The way the game saves itself has changed, instead of saving in a .dat file (which caused some issues wih some users) KNIGHTS now uses .xml

It wasn't exactly a minor change so it required a game update.

Of course if this causes any issues with anyone, please do tell. If a rollback is needed, it can be done so at any given time.
