The game has just been removed from Steam. Why?

i've tried running both DX9 and DX10, and neither both work. i'm on windows 10, i already tried uninstalling and installing again, reinstalling DirectX and it won't work.

Before this edition of DMC4 ended up on the steam store (i think), i bought the non-steam standalone PC version (With the Games for Windows label on it) of this YEARS ago. ofc i used some mods with it, mostly texture mods not from nexusmods. Now that this game is on the steam store, and with the current set of mods for this specific version of DMC4, would the mods on nexus be compatible with my old edition of DMC4, or not? like, if you had to guesstimate it on a percentile, how many mods (texture or...

I'm new to the series and confused as to which one I should purchase. I like games with complicated combos and I heard that this one has a more advanced combat system than DmC so there's that... Price wise DMC 4 is a clear winner, although DmC costs only appx 12$ (retail, convered to USD) so I don't mind spending more for DmC if it truly is the latest and greatest. Thanks for your input! I'm looking for a trainer so I can practice combos. I haven't been able to find a working link to the Super Trainer V9, and the one I've got from who knows where ruins my game. Anyone willing to share the program or direct me to where I can get it?
