Hi! First of all, we want to apologize for the few updates. We had a financially hard year after the release of Corroded, and we needed to get back on our feet by working with other projects. This resulted in stagnation of the development of Corroded.

The goal is to reach full release, but we need to make some changes to the server solutions before we can go free-to-play. We have now reached a point where we can finally start working on these changes.

Finally, we would just like to thank everyone who has shown interest in the game lately, it's giving us hope for the future of Corroded. The Corroded community has been amazingly supportive from the start and all we ask of you now is that you're willing to stick with us a little longer till we get everything sorted out. Thank you. <3

OBS: We're only supporting EU servers at the moment. ...but this will obviously change when we've made the changes to the backend.

Vive la révolution! Corroded is getting its first official update next Monday! Guillotine, aka the French assassin, is entering the arena. With her stealthy game style and the ability to bend time and space, she's a worthy newcomer to the Corroded roster. This update also includes a new skin for Scrapper, some new game settings(like knockback power and movement speed) and unlockable victory animations.

• A new glorious icon has been added for the tournament winner.
  
• You can now set a custom maximum cap on the framerate in-game. This can be found under the ‘Video’ tab in the options window along with other new graphic settings.

Visual update

• We realized that the room chat was kind of unreadable, so it’s time for a new color scheme.
  
• Tharuu has had a myriad of small tweaks and updates where the largest change is the look of the danger area and how the platforms sink visually.
  
• The game lobby has received some visual improvements
  
  

Custom Game

• Changed default dangerzone multiplier setting to 100%, where it should have been all along!

General

• The lights are no longer shut off before the end screen pops up.

General: robots

• Players no longer seem to get burnt or electrocuted between rounds.
  
• Fixed issue where some abilities with projectors caused the standard ability to fire simultaneously
  
• Knockback animations should now only play once.
  
• Robots no longer snap into victory animations at the end screen.

Steel Mantis

• Fixed a bug which made it possible to fire the Huge Channeled Laser ability after death.

Julez

• Fixed a bug which caused the jump animation to sometimes play an extra time.
  
• Fixed an issue where the jump animation didn’t play for other players.

It's tournament day! :) Today, at 4 pm CEST the first ever Corroded Online Tournament will be held. We have sent out an email with the tournament rules to everyone that's participating. It's important that you read the rules before entering the competition. Oh, and here's the bracket for the tournament :)
