What a disaster! Ball dynamics and flipper response are just as bad as before – I'm on a Mac Studio M1 Max – but now the tables have appalling load times – up to 5 minutes! If I want to play, I go back to my 2013 Intel iMac.

The animations they put on their tables at Pinball FX are embarrassingly stupid sounding/looking and distracting; like some sort of baby-game/hokey B-movie promotional garbage. And then there's the silly glowing ball effects which make your ball look like it's on fire on top of all that other garbage :abs_surprised: [/quote]

You can actually turn off all the animations and glowing ball effects and powerups in Pinball FX. I play FX3 williams tables a lot, just with no extra ball effects, scoring effects, or animations - once you take all that out they're much more immersive, and the physics is pretty decent. Attack From Mars in Pinball FX3 with all the extra crap turned off for example plays a lot like the real thing - if anything it's actually harder, as the ball speed on the table is crazy, and the physics unpredictable

Some people don't like AI art and, you should admit, it is a very controversial technology. Some people will boycott you over this (I won't but some others have threatened to do so).

You should have provided the new art style as an option which can be turned on and off for each table. If you had done this you wouldn't have so many disappointed fans review bombing you and accusing you of bait and switch (I am not necessarily one of them).

But if you had provided the new art style as an option you would have avoided most of the controversy.

I still like your pinball game. It's the best pinball video game in existence.

But I also really recommend that you do another update and provide an option to use the original art style for all those old deluxe and original and retro tables which previously used that kind of art.

When in doubt (and you should've had a few doubts), provide OPTIONS.

Try not to force changes on people (for example, people getting changes forced on them is one of the main reasons so many people hate Microsoft. You guys probably know all about how frustrating that experience is as does probably the rest of the world (have you upgraded to Windows 11 yet? Do you want to use CoPilot? Does it even matter whether you want to use it?). Try not to be like that.

the reply to this was banned and it only mentioned if Zaccaria isn't doing it with the deluxe edition.
that post was not against tos, had no insult or such in it and therefore was no reason to perma-ban someone.
