I'm stuck, I rescued the magicians and got transported to the Jundamunde ruins, but don't know where to go from here.

I have looked everywhere for these two. Desert Snake does not spawn in desert, is there a quest giver or something that triggers this? Man-Eating Plant, I have absolutely no idea.
