Good game while playing the campaign. But I didnt like the endgame.
Had a few crashes, but nothing important.
Not as good as Grim Dawn, but slightly better than Diablo 4.

You can take in game enemies and make them fight for you just like "spectres" in Path of Exile. As a summoner main in these types of games, that's all I needed to know.

That being said, Wolcen is a decent non-class based ARPG. If you are a fan of the genre, getting this game on sale for under $10 is a steal regardless of where it ranks in your list of Top 10 favorite top-down ARPG hack and slash dungeon crawlers.

It's sad that the developers abandoned the game. End game would be great if they fixed old AF bugs and ran three to six month seasons with new content like a PoE style map system and new items/skills. I burnt out after a good high level friend quit and gave me all her items after being diagnosed with late stage three cancer, she eventually stopped logging on steam, RIP Jenny. It made gaming boring since I have every ultra rare item (~3,500 hours worth) in multiples, but I'll treasure them and spin to win every once in a while until the day I die. I'd kill for a new season with new stuff or modding access; like being able to edit existing maps/mobs/items/skills and/or the ability to create new maps/mobs/items/skills/storylines plus custom gfx/sfx for said things. A modding scene would let people fix the game and after implementing the developers can just run the game from the shadows. Maybe make new leagues every six months using the top rated mod within the last few months. As you can see I really want this game to succeed, so to the devs, please add modding and charge $10-$15 to unlock it. Or sell the game to a company that will actually work on the OG Wolcens goal.

Yeah I recommend this game if it's on sale.

Worth it on sale for a handful of bucks.
Playing offline mode, I experienced a couple of visual and audio bugs but nothing game-breaking.
The game is fun if you go in with measured expectations, it's a decent arpg with good voice acting, okay story and acceptable combat.
Don't expect much in the way of future updates, as it seems to be mostly a completed (or abandoned, depending on who you ask) project.

Just another entry into a crowded field. It's fun for what it is, but I guess I'm a little fatigued on this play style...nothing here that grabbed me strongly enough to keep me hooked.

Combat feels nice to me, story, especially characters in it, are meh at best.
Overall despite the reviews I really, really enjoyed it.
TOO BAD IT F****NG BROKE AFTER THE BIG BOSS FIGHT AND I CAN'T PROGRESS.
Vendors went AWOL, portal doesn't work, can't interact with NPCs, quest has no objective.
So yeah, eat it, devs.
