rese's new game Sin & Host: The Diner revealed!

Hi everyone!

I just announced the game I have been working on for the last couple of years - Sin & Host: The Diner.

Sin & Host: The Diner is a classic survival horror with fixed cameras and pre-rendered backgrounds where you take control of Hanako and her younger sister, Aiko, as they navigate the early days of a zombie outbreak in a desperate search for their missing parents.

Each sister has their own strengths and weaknesses so you will need to control one or the other depending on the situation and they even have different control schemes (tank / modern). I am a big fan of tank controls in classic survival horror games so I wanted to implement them in a way that made sense within the game.

Version 1.1.0 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.1.0 is now live. Here is the list of fixes for this new version:

- Fixed issue where AI would freeze if the player with the ball was on the defence line.
- Fixed issue where AI was able to use abilities when frozen or asleep.
- Fixed issue where the game would freeze if a player in front of a barrier pressed move and then pressed confirm again with a controller.
- Fixed striking dribble not applying ability cost.
- Minor fix in the equipment tutorial text.

Version 1.0.9 is live!

Hi everyone,

Small update here! Looks like there was one sneaky bug that would make your players forget an ability they had already learnt if you equipped that same item again after learning the ability. Version 1.0.9 should fix that.

Ganbare! Super Strikers is now available in consoles

Hi everyone,

Ganbare! Super Strikers has finally been released on PS4 / PS Vita, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. And version 1.0.8 is now live on Steam with the the few changes that those new versions bring:

- Added hard mode. Normal mode is now a bit easier and hard mode is added for those who want an extra challenge
- Tweaks on AI

One Year Anniversary

It's Ganbare! Super Strikers' one year anniversary!

I would like to thank everyone that has supported the game on its first year. The game has improved a lot during this time and that wouldn't have been possible without all of your help, feedback and bug reports.

I should have more news about the console versions soon, but for now all I can say is that they are on their way.

Version 1.0.7.1 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.0.7.1 is now live. This update is just a hot fix for an issue introduced in the previous version.

Version 1.0.7 introduced an issue where rival teams didn't level up as you progress in the Story Mode. This now has been fixed and the team levels are back to normal. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Version 1.0.7 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.0.7 is now live. Here is the list of changes introduced in this new version:

- Added an easy mode. If you are having issues winning a match you can change the difficulty mode in the options menu.
- Improved the experience system. Part of the XP earned by a player is now shared with the rest of the team, to avoid more active players having a level way higher than the rest of the team.
- Short passes are now ground passes.
- You can now quickly select your players by pressing L and R triggers.
- Fixed bug where PKs weren't playable with 2 controllers.
- Fixes on Japanese localisation.
- Minor tweaks and bug fixes.

This is probably the last update I will upload for the game, other than to fix issues. It's been almost a year since I released the game on Steam and with the console versions shaping up nicely is time to start thinking about what's next.

Version 1.0.6 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.0.6 is now live. This update is mostly bug fixes and small tweaks to make the game easier to use. The most important changes are:

- Redesign of the Change Formation Menu screen to increase readability and make it easier to use with controllers.
- Addition of a "Speed Up" button to increase the speed of the AI's turn.
- Added a new type of gamepad with icons for the Xbox One controller.
- Tweaks on AI behaviour.
- Tweaks and fixes on controller behaviour in general.

Version 1.0.5 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.0.5 is now live. This update brings two more languages, Italian and French, to the game. There are also a few improvements and bug fixes. The complete list of changes is here:

- French and Italian localisation.
- Fixed a bug in Tournaments and Leagues that would prevent the competition from progressing.
- Up to 8 players can now participate in Tournaments and Leagues.
- Tweaks and improvements to the camera.
- You can now end your turn pressing the Enter key.
- You can now use your mouse wheel to zoom the camera in and out
- Minor bug fixes and tweaks

Version 1.0.4 is live!

Hi everyone,

Version 1.0.4 is now live. There is only one new main feature in this update, but it is a very exciting one! Like many of you requested, the character editor can now be used with any player from your team in the Story Mode. You can access it from the Player Status menu.

There are also some minor bug fixes and other tweaks that should make the game even more stable.

Ganbare! Super Strikers is very close to receive a score from Steam (in case you don't know, Steam doesn't give a score to a game until it reaches a certain amount of reviews), so if you haven't already I would really appreciate if you could leave a review on the store page. It really helps small indie developers like myself.
