Why?

whenever i put in my profile it doesnt start the story it just sends me back to the main screen and it just keeps happening, please fix this issue as it is very annoying

I'm playing with a 6700K, 1070, and game is installed on an NVME and the game regularly freezes up. When toggling the one upgrade option, which adds a cosmetic onto your ship, the game would freeze up every time I added it. In the last mission, it froze hard when going to play the cinematic. My disk access light wasn't on either, so not sure why it's freezing up....

after shooting the beam once the cannon is stuck. the beam stays in place, between cannon and first target until the end of the mission. this seems to happen to me everytime i use it.
