Playtime per money-wise, this is more expensive than Ace Attorney. It's a tiny VN, really...

I haven't had the luck to catch this deal but steamdb says the lowest price ever was ~4 euros. Quite late for me to realize I could've saved so much, but oh well, it was a nice experience. Clever use of public domain resources, nice story, nice layout.

I recommend it for like 10-12 euro. Not so much for 15.

A visual novel that takes the wonderful premise and structure of the Ace Attorney games and puts it's own spin on it, with a beautiful artstyle and score that compliments the games unique setting of revolutionary France. The court gameplay itself feels a bit too simple in a lot of the cases, however the investigations have been turned to puzzle sections by giving you only so many days to gather all the evidence you need. While I could see it being annoying to have to restart if you failed to collect everything, I didn't have a problem with this and enjoyed the looming uncertainty that I could fail a trial it added. It is rather short if you don't go through all the different endings, and the game is missing some quality of life features like being able to fast forward through dialogue or a history of past dialogue, however it is still a good time I would recommend to any Ace Attorney fan.
