Imagine a game where you cannot save, where you are in a constant hurry, and if you mess some small thing up, you will never get to make it right, not even in your future playthroughs after you are finished with the current one.

80 Days contains many storylines, some interesting and some boring, but unfortunately, some of the best storylines are broken, meaning that they can only be tried once and you can never return to them. And this just sucks, particularly in a game where you can easily mess things up as you are in a constant hurry and you cannot save.

The playthrough that broke this game for me was the Black Rose: I messed this storyline up on the first try, and now I no longer encounter it. To this day, I have not figured out whether it is a bug, or if this was meant to be this horrible.

If you want to make a game with no save button, then at least you should be able to organically return to earlier storylines in future seeds if you end up failing them on the first try.
It is sad really, because this game has SO much potential. But as it is, the level of frustration is just too much. I cannot recommend this.

Takes a familiar story and wraps it in a cool steampunk aesthetic! Love the replayability, and the subtle variations in the seeding and storyline keep pulling me towards the roads less travelled.
